Become a Gemstone Mermaid Performer
Have you ever dreamed of becoming a mermaid and bringing a little magic into the world?
Gemstone Mermaids is always looking for passionate performers who love the water, enjoy connecting with people, and want to help create unforgettable experiences for guests of all ages.
Our troupe performs throughout the Southeast at festivals, private events, and special appearances. From dazzling audiences while swimming in our travel tank The Pearl, to greeting guests on land from a mermaid throne, our performers bring fantasy to life wherever we go.
We are currently accepting applications for individuals interested in becoming probationary performers within the Gemstone Mermaids troupe.

Gemstone Mermaid performers help create immersive magical experiences through:

Enchant guests from beneath the water in pools, tanks, and aquatic environments.
✨ Meet & Greets
Pose for photos, interact with guests, and share stories from beneath the waves.
✨ Festival & Event Appearances
Bring fantasy to life at renaissance faires, markets, and themed events.
✨ Mermaid Makeovers & Gemstone Dives
Help guests transform into merfolk and create magical memories by selecting gemstone keepsakes just for them.
Our performers are entertainers, storytellers, and ambassadors for the environment.
Who We’re Looking For
Ideal performers are:

✨ Friendly and confident interacting with guests
✨ Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
✨ Comfortable performing at festivals and public events
✨ Passionate about fantasy, mermaids, and creating magical experiences
Previous mermaiding experience is wonderful but not required. We welcome applicants who are excited to learn and grow with the troupe.
The Audition Process
1) Submit a performer application
2) Selected applicants may be invited to audition
3) Successful candidates may join the troupe as a probationary performer under a temporary contract
4) After training and experience with the group, performers may be invited to become official Gemstone Mermaid performers
