Bio: Rowan is a merrow that was found abandoned as a merling. She was discovered by the Fae, lost in a lagoon of emerald water. They raised her as one of their own and this is why Rowan has such an affection for creatures both of water and land. One of the creatures she's most curious about are humans. This is why you can often find her exploring the human world to learn more. She's an inquisitive and kind-hearted mermaid who founded the Gemstone Mermaid pod so that she could explore the human world with her finned friends!


Siren Drehea

Type: Ocean Siren
Location: South Carolina
Bio: Drehea is a witch. She is rumored to change herself into many forms and likes to hide in plain sight. You won't know if you meet her on the street; however, her siren form is very distinct. Not much is known about Drehea, except for what parts of her story are passed down through legends and song.


Mermaid Faeryn

Type: Freshwater Mermaid
Location: North Carolina
Bio: Faeryn is a wild spirit that protects the waters deep within her old ancient forest. Although now a mermaid, Faeryn was once a woodland spirit that lived and protected that very same forest. She gave her life to protect its ancient secrets and magic from those who sought to bring harm to the forest inhabitants. The spirit that ruled over the forest was so saddened that one of his beloved daughters gave her life to protect all that was good and magical deep within, that he gave her to the water and turned her into a mermaid to keep her spirit alive. As a mermaid, Faeryn is mischievous, wild, curious, and above all, loves adventure.
Mermaid Sammi

Bio: Sammi is a playful and mischievous mermaid. She's known for splashing you when you least expect it and playing in bubbles. You can find her swimming in mid to deep waters, but she loves to come to the surface to interact and learn about the human world. If you catch her in the wild, she might be shy at first but eventually warms up after inspecting each person to make sure they're safe for contact. Due to her eyesight, she prefers to swim in clear waters where she can play with all the fish and see all of her friends swimming beside her. She loves to take naps and can often be found napping on the warm sand near the surface.
Mermaid Alexandra
Gemstone: Alexandrite
Type: Euryhaline Nereid
Location: Georgia
Bio: Alexandra is a type of mermaid called a Nereid (nehr-REE-id) which is a species of water nymph from Greek Mythos. Descended from one of the original 50 daughters of Nereus, Alexandra grew up just like any other human girl on land. One day she discovered her mermaid heritage after being gifted her Yiayia Eléni's shell necklace. Poof! She grew a bright pink tail in the middle of her bedroom. Since then, she's slowly learning new things about her mermaid self and her Greek heritage. Including apprenticing with the Court of Nereids with her noble hippocampus steed Prásinos. She's traveled throughout the Mediterranean Sea, across the Atlantic Ocean and several springs, helping kind sailors, and sometimes catching humans who dare to pollute and harm our waters. All the while, keeping up mostly with her human life and friends.
Siren Iris

Type: Siren/Selkie Hybrid
Location: Georgia
Bio: Named for her purple hair as it was reminiscent of the desert flower, she earned moniker "The Purple Desert Siren." Although originally found in a swamp on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana, Iris is a siren that migrates. She can and has lived in many types of bodies of water and many climates and biomes including the deserts of the Southwest and the Rocky Mountains. She has lived in the rivers, creeks, and streams of Colorado, New Mexico, and Texas. Iris even spent a few years in the Great Lakes of the North. Currently, she can be found exploring the Southern East Coast of the US as well as many of Florida's gorgeous fresh water springs.

Rhea has come across many a Fae and they have blessed her with a necklace that has the ability to gift her with legs whenever her curious heart wants to do some exploring on land. She is kindhearted and fascinated by all of life's creations and creatures.
